What is gained from reflecting?
For me the harvest last week of looking over 23 years with InterVarsity as staff and student, showed me the landscape of my journey to this point; brought clarity on areas of focus moving forward; and grew a deeper appreciation of God’s work in and through me.
Day to day I find myself drawn to my achievements and goals, so it was helpful to be reminded of my journey, as Gwyn Thomas said, “The beauty is in the walking, we are betrayed by destinations”.
