I am glad for the work God is doing in me but there is even better news. He is growing a forest of the righteous who follow Psalm 1. This forest of trees “planted by streams of water” (vs. 3) provide direction to us in our walk with God, create stability in neighborhoods, shelter the vulnerable, and cry out for justice.
With the animosity in our world, the oppression of others, and the prevalence of death, it is easy to feel that evil is winning. We are invited however to remember that even in the times that look the bleakest, God is building his people and advancing his Reign on Earth until all things are reconciled.
