If it is you Jesus, invite us out of the boat.
Over the last season our family has been considering what Jesus’ next invitation is for us. During the process, the story of Jesus inviting Peter out on the water fueled our prayer. As we considered options we began asking Jesus, “If it is you, invite us out of the boat.”
It is clear to us now that our next ‘yes’ is to move to Madison, WI this summer and for me to take a new role with InterVarsity as the Executive Director of Field Operations. We are not sure yet what all this ‘yes’ will hold for our family, though are excited to ‘step out of the boat’ together.
